Digital photography does not include chemical processing to develop pictures while computer and digital technology and it is being used in developing pictures. People now have adopted this technology even in professional photo shoots. They use digital cameras to capture images and videos and get best results.  Too many latest models of cameras are introduced at times with more and more features. Photographers tend to purchase the latest one.

Photography is an art to capture events in videos and pictures to store them as best memories. All people use cameras and on special events, they hire a professional for photography. These professionals carry all their needs with them and shoot for others. People always think good about the photographers because they provide them with best results but other than their services, there are some bad habits of digital photographer that have been seen which should be known by other people who have interests in photography and going to adopt this activity as profession.

Most common bad habits that digital photographers commonly have are mentioned here:

1. 1. Not Checking Gear Bags

Before setting for any type of photo shoot whether a ceremony or a tour to capture nature, they do not check their gear bags. Gear bag is an essential element of digital photography. It contains all necessary things like extra battery, charger, lens and important tools like camera stands etc. This bad habit creates a lot of problems and hinders best performance of a photographer.

1. 2. Not Checking ISO Settings

ISO setting means to check the sensitivity of the camera for light. It is measured in numbers. More the numbers, more will be sensitivity and lesser the number, less will be sensitivity. It wholly depends upon the time and place where the photographer is going to shoot. Most commonly it happens that photographers forget to double check the ISO setting of their camera and in result, quality of their work is not up to the mark.

1. 3. Not Cleaning Sensor

While shooting in the dusty areas, there is need to clean the sensor or change the lens to get clear results but photographers keep on shooting and do not give too much importance in cleaning the sensor. It is a very bad habit of most of the photographers.

1. 4. Better Body instead of Better Lens

Some young photographers are style oriented and beauty conscious. They give more importance to the body of the camera instead of better lens. Market offers a lot of new designs sometimes with good quality and sometimes with inferior. It is not a good practice to prefer better body.

1. 5. Forget to Carry a Second Battery

Sometimes a photo shoot goes long and battery may fail. To overcome this problem, photographers need to carry an extra battery with them. But unfortunately they do not focus on subsequences and ignore such future problems.

1. 6. Delete Pictures Too Fast

This is a most common and very bad habit. Photographers use too much speed in deleting pictures and in this carelessness, they happen to delete the important pictures. Sometimes it causes the loss of more very important and much desired data which can not be restored again.

1. 7. Not Reformatting C.F Cards between Use

Before the photographers go to the next shoot, they should reformat their memory cards so that no hinder may come in their way to capture the important events. But very often it happens that they go without reformatting and during their shoot, it creates less space problem. When they start reformatting, they miss the important shoots. This is all because of their bad habit of not preparing before going for a new shoot.

1. 8. Blaming the Material

A bad workman always quarrels with his tools. Same is with the photographers. They blame their cameras and do not accept their mistakes. This is a very bad habit. They should accept their mistakes and try not to commit same mistakes again.
